What you should know about Grotrian-Steinweg Concerto G113 Grotrian-Steinweg is a piano manufacturing company from Germany that has close to 200 years of experience making instruments of high-quality using fine craftsmanship and premium materials. Grotrian-Steinweg may have changed from a family-owned enterprise, but its driving force has remained the same; a love for music. Its instruments provide an exceptional tone, combined with innovative design and an immersive playing experience. With decades of German construction and technology, the Grotrian-Steinweg Concerto G-113 upright model features premium components made to the highest quality standards. This includes Abel hammerheads, and 4-brace Renner action, which are some of the finest action parts in the world. Renner components also last longer, and provide a consistent sound over an extended period of time. This model is capable of creating beautifully subtle tones and an even powerful bass for a balanced sound across the board. In addition, the Grotrian-Steinweg Concerto G-113 is equipped with a Kluge keyboard, for a light touch, greater responsiveness and a reliable performance at all times. The G-113 is an upright piano with extraordinary character for its smaller stature. With impressive power, excellent sound, clarity and tonal colour, this piano can rival much larger models. An absolute pleasure to play and admire, the Grotrian-Steinweg Concerto G-113 is a stunning example of German craftsmanship, traditional design and rich sound. Dimensions

A bit about Grotrian-Steinweg Pianos "Lads, build good pianos and the rest will take care of itself", Wilhelm Grotrian once said to his sons Kurt and Willi and thereby phrased one of the most important mottos for the GROTRIAN company. When you listen to the sound of a GROTRIAN you will notice that there is much more behind it: a love for music. Since 1835, this now fifth, and sixth generation family business have been making pianos adhering to the mantra of Wilhelm Grotrian. In 2015, a new shareholder came on board, The Parsons Music Group - also a family run business with headquarters in Hong Kong, who employ over 5000 personnel and have 100 of their own retail outlets. Grotrian says that all pianos bearing its name will continue to be made in Braunschweig, Germany, and that the Parsons investment will be used to expand manufacturing capacity to better serve the burgeoning Asian piano market. In 2018, Grotrian introduced two lines that are even more affordable: Wilhelm Grotrian and Wilhelm Grotrian Studio. Giving a very solid economic platform, Grotrian have a wide range of pianos, some under different brand names, but the attention to detail, innovation, and craftsmanship makes these exceptional instruments, which rival the very best of the German brands.
