Typically, the price of a used piano will be determined by an experienced piano appraiser who will decide its market value by factoring in what other sellers are charging, depreciation and the cost of any required restoration.

If you are buying from a reputable seller, they often have carried out any repairs required in-house and will provide a guarantee with their work.
