There is a new piano at Euston Station – meet the Kawai k300
Over the years, Markson Pianos has supported countless talented musicians on their musical journeys, supplying fine instruments to concert halls, studios, and private venues across the UK. While these projects have enabled artists to perform and flourish, initiatives such as our public pianos at London railway stations allow us to share music with the wider community, offering moments of joy and inspiration at the most unexpected times.
One of the UK’s busiest railway stations, Euston Station, now proudly features a Kawai K-300 upright piano, supplied by Markson Pianos, for all to enjoy. Thousands of commuters pass through the station each day, and this instrument offers them the opportunity to play, listen, or simply pause and savour the sound of a beautifully crafted piano. Sharing music lies at the very heart of our ethos, and moments like this bring immense pleasure to both performers and audiences alike. Our colleague Christian recently took a break from a busy day at the Albany Street showroom to visit Euston Station, where he performed a medley of tunes for the delighted station crowd. The response was heartwarming and perfectly illustrates the power of music to connect people and enrich everyday life
